Avril Beukes
Avril Beukes' career spans decades. She has edited more than 25 feature films.
"Little One", which she edited in 2012, was selected as the South African Foreign Language entry to the 2013 Academy Awards. Other highlights include "Yesterday" which was nominated for the 2005 Foreign Film Academy Award and "Red Dust" starring Hilary Swank and Chiwetel Ejiofor (for which she received the inaugural Golden Horn Award for Feature Film Editing in 2006).
Whilst still in her native South Africa, Avril won numerous other awards for her editing work in feature films and television. She edited the debut feature films of directors Tom Hooper and Gavin Hood and works extensively with Darrell James Roodt.

Djansi's film "Ties That Bind" received nine Ghana Movie Awards in 2011 including Best Editing and Best Picture.

Rika Camizianos
After graduating from the University of Cape Town Rika set off for New York to pursue a degree in Fine Arts from the Pratt Institute.
She returned to South Africa and immediately embarked on a career in feature films and television. She edited numerous television sitcoms as well as documentaries.
Rika was a co-editor (with Avril Beukes) on “Lullaby” starring Melissa Leo and “Number 10”, a sports drama set in the world of rugby.
After a decade in the South African film and television industry, Rika returned to the United States and attended UCLA in Los Angeles. After completing a course in Directing and Development, she joined Dick Clark Productions’ Digital Division as Lead Editor and Supervisor.
Rika is now Director of Development/Post-Production, Digital & TV at Dick Clark Productions.
